How you can help Kyle's Family...

A bit more information regarding the passing of Captain Kyle Van De Giesen.

As I mentioned last week, Kyle left behind a wife, daughter and soon-to-be born son. They are obviously going through a lot and will have needs that need to be supported. They have a mass of loving people around them to help them emotionally, but there is obviously the financial needs that linger in a time when that is the last thing you want to think about.

If any of the followers of A Wine Odyssey feel moved to help a fallen hero's family, there has been a memorial fund established. All of the funds go directly to an account established for Megan (Kyle's wife), in which she will have full discretion over.
